Beaver Creek Hosts 2007 Roger Gould Classic Golf Tournament

The ALS Association, Iowa Chapter (Johnston, IA) held the 2007 Roger Gould Classic Golf Tournament today at Beaver Creek Golf Club in Grimes.  This was the first time I’ve played in this fundraiser - and although we dodged showers most of the day, it was a really great time.  I also got to meet Roger, who is living with ALS and for whom the tournament is named.  Last year the ALS Association raised over $18,000 during this event, and while I haven’t heard the final numbers yet, I’m betting this year it will be even more. 

Thank you also to Paragon IT Professionals for inviting me to be a be a part of your foursome.  In addition, I want to thank Jason Lee (Executive Director of the ALS Association, Iowa Chapter) and those who worked so hard to coordinate this event, including the staff at Beaver Creek.  Roger - continue the fight.
