As you will learn over time, I am a big fan of a great cup of coffee.  Seldom a day goes by when I don’t seek out a local coffee shop, in search of a hot, dark roasted cup of joe.  While I’ve tried more than a dozen places in Des Moines and the burbs, I constantly find myself back at the Starbucks in Hy-Vee on 74th Street in WDM, or maybe it’s Jordan Creek Parkway…I can never remember.  In any case, although there is usually a short line - it’s well worth the wait.  Obviously I’m not the only one who loves their coffee, hence the line.  And while the coffee is incredible, it’s the service that keeps me coming back.  I’m always greeted with a smile and a thank you, and several of their staff even remember my usual order and have it ready for me before I get to the counter.  Briana, Sarah, Fadila, and Kristy…thank you.  This Starbucks does it right, and I am grateful.
