Is it Lazer 103.3 or Laser 103.3?  Well, which ever it is…if you’re a fan of Metallica, you’ve got to try this radio station.  At our office, we rotate between the Lazer (KAZR FM) and Capitol 106.3.  A few weeks ago, we even had a fun contest to try and guess which song would be coming up next on Lazer.  Guess who won?  In every case, the person who got to pick first, also known as the person who guessed “Metallica”.  Fortunately, Lazer also makes room for 5 or so other groups including AC/DC (although we aren’t sure why Big Balls is still so popular), Pearl Jam (Eddie Vedder can really rock, can’t he?), Ozzy Osbourne (what a comeback), Motley Crue (makes me feel good), and Guns N’ Roses.  I’m missing one I think.

Don’t get me wrong, I listen to Lazer at least 4 hours per day.  In fact, since they dumped Mancow and came up with their own morning show…it’s now closer to 6 hours.  Is it Moose or Elk?  Something like that, and he is much better!  Andy Hall and Ryan Patrick are also a lot of fun and they keep the afternoons moving along.  (And with 7 CD’s to choose from, how hard would that be?)

It wouldn’t be fair if I didn’t mention a couple of items regarding this station’s website.  Guessing it’s in transition, or maybe some functionality just isn’t working tonight….but I started by entering www.laser1033.com into my address bar.  That url doesn’t work today, although I’m guessing it did at one time.  (By the way, if Lazer is getting rid of that URL and going to Lazer1033.com, somes 301 redirect would be very helpful.)  Also, on the homepage of the website, there are several areas that I clicked for additional information, and I got nothing.  Again, guessing the site is being redeveloped…but if not, give us a call sometime.  And, if you ever go an hour without playing Metallica, maybe we’ll throw in a free search engine marketing consultation.  Everything that Rocks!
